That A6 is a nightmare.Too many take aways,crap pubs,only decent one being the pheonix,I'm sorry but i don't really think Hazel Grove is all that ,nor is Stockport come to think of it,absolutely crap choice of shops,no vibe ,no energy, no nothing DULLSVILLE

The huge red "funnel" which sits on the roof of KFC is a monstrous blot on the heart of the village. The allotment/Norbury Church area ought to be protected, by businesses being forced to soften their ugly modern contours and by strategic tree planting. .

The footpaths are an uneven disgrace.Too much litter.ALL the road surfaces need attention.The main shopping area on the A6 has become a joke.Nothing seems to be cared for. The Council Tax we pay is high but I cannot see where it is being spent to improve the environment of Hazel Grove. What a dump!

Your all forgetting one thing about the traffic, yes there is allot of it but that's also what brings in the shoppers. More shoppers mean shops have more money to make the place look a nicer area. Instead of bitching about go shopping and help the cause!

The Valley has always been bad and still is. Its a breeding ground for criminals - full of chavs.
I'm glad I moved away.
Plus the traffic and pollution on the A6 is a disgrace. When are the council etc going to pull their finger out?

The vally crew are chavs and cant wait to leav and get away frm them and you cant walk down a street becos they start on you, i think the traffic is quit bad too but otherwise it is a good town

The people r fine, its the council who don't represent the folk who live here,they place traffic lights @ every corner. taxing local businesses, the more traffic lights they get the happier they are. when will they consult us living here, maybe they might just make us happy for a real change.

the traffic-if only the bypass was built then we could really enjoy a bimble around the shops and occasionally an outdoor coffee at Huffys.
