Trivia:
Other: Soon to have more pubs/bars than charity shops!
Other: Still with 'The Bamboo' I remember when it first opened, the 2 lads from the bakers next door wasn't it? I met Helen Worth and her friend ??? with Graham Haberfield (Jerry Booth) of Coronation Street, early sixties,It was a jazz club then.
I lived in Hazel Grove during years 1932 / 1963 as an Au Pair Girl near a very nice family : Mr and Mrs Eccles at 26 Darley road.
I lost their contact after a few years back to France.
I would now be very pleased to hear about them ; they had 2 kids David and John and an elder brother Bruce.
Any news about this family would be welcome.

Brilliant location with Manchester and all that smashing countryside on your door step.
Hazel Groves ok by me,I grew up there and although I now live in South Wales I always drive through for a look on visits back North.
Also I have travelled extensively worldwide and Hazel Groves great!
I left Hazel Gove in 1977 when I married. I then left England and emingrated to Australia. I have fond memories of Hazel Grove, but I would be probably be horrified at the changes that have occurred. I know that things change, but reading the comments, it seems to have changed for the worse.
